Once again we occupied the green outside church, determined to extend the summer a little longer and get out into the community to bless our neighbours.

There was face painting, crafts, a sand pit, panna football cage, mocktails, Halal barbecue and delicious samosas provided by the Bengali men’s group. A great team effort got everything set up, despite strong breeze, and a number of people from the local area came along, many with their kids. Lots of great conversations took place and it was great to be able to meet more people from the local area, as well as introducing them to the All Hallows family and the idea that Christians can have/ be fun! Then the rain came, but such was the deluge that most people didn’t go home, they dived into the marquee for shelter, allowing more socialising to take place.

Despite the soggy end it was a great day of fun!
